Avinash Bhat

Avinash Bhat is the Head of Data Infrastructure at Stripe since June 2021, bringing extensive experience from Amazon, where from June 2012 to June 2021, Avinash held various leadership roles including Sr. Manager for AWS Simple Storage Service (S3) and AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK). In the S3 role, Avinash led the S3 Actions organization, overseeing Storage Management features, including Lifecycle Management and Batch Operations. Avinash also managed software teams for AWS Kinesis and led manufacturing and order fulfillment technology teams for Merch by Amazon. Earlier in the career, Avinash managed a team responsible for Competitive Pricing Systems for Amazon. Avinash holds a Bachelor of Engineering from RNS Institute of Technology, India, and has completed pre-university education focused on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Computer Science.
