Dan Nelson

Dan Nelson currently serves as the Head of Product Design for Payments at Stripe since February 2024. As the Owner of The Ruby Tap, a neighborhood wine bar with a strong wine club, Dan has continually pursued entrepreneurial ventures since August 2012. Previously, Dan held significant roles at Tock, where leadership as Senior Director and founding employee contributed to substantial growth and the processing of over $2 billion in transactions before acquisition by Squarespace. Dan's experience includes advisory positions at various companies and leadership roles in product design at Trunk Club and Made, fostering the design of innovative solutions across industries. Dan holds a Master of Arts in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in Design from DePaul University.
