David Luong

David Luong is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in creating and refining design systems across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at Stripe since August 2025, David focuses on Sail UI, Stripe's core design system. David's previous role at Shopify saw the development and implementation of a new settings design system, complemented by a composable Figma library and collaboration with engineers on component creation. Aside from product design, David has mentored aspiring designers at adplist.org and held positions with notable organizations including Konrad, League of Innovators Accelerator, and Kindred Culture Inc., where roles encompassed experience design, graphic design, and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. David Luong earned a Bachelor of Design Honours Degree in Graphic Design from York University, building a solid foundation in design thinking and methodologies.
