Idil Omar

Idil Omar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in executive support and strategic management. Currently serving as an ABP at Stripe since June 2020, Idil previously held the position of EA Business Partner at Uber and Chief of Staff at NEXT Canada, where significant responsibilities included advising the CEO and overseeing all administrative operations. Idil's background includes serving as EA/Special Advisor to the Deputy Minister at the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, where expertise was demonstrated in managing stakeholder relationships and developing electronic filing systems utilized by over 2,000 government employees. Additional experience encompasses roles at The DMZ at Ryerson University and the Permanent Mission of Somalia to the United Nations in Geneva. Idil holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a Sociology minor from Ryerson University, alongside various certificates in strategic management and human resources management from distinguished institutions, including Harvard and the University of Toronto.
