Joe Sexton

Joe Sexton is a Commercial Counsel at Stripe since June 2022, offering expertise in corporate legal matters. Previously, Joe worked as an Associate at Cooley LLP, where responsibilities included representing technology companies and investors in venture capital financings and IPOs. Joe held various legal positions at Medallia from May 2016 to November 2019, culminating in the role of Associate General Counsel, where leadership was provided to a team managing a significant North American business. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Associate at Google, where contributions were made to public policy efforts in Washington, D.C. Joe holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Stanford University.
