John Tsai

John Tsai is the current head of patents, IP litigation, open source, and standards at Stripe. John has also previously worked as Lead Counsel for open source and IP at Facebook, and before that as Open Source and Patent Counsel at PayPal. John Tsai has also worked as an associate at Bridges & Mavrakakis and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Maxine M. Chesney.

John Tsai received their undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and their JD from UC Hastings.

John Tsai received their Doctor of Law (JD) from University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
