Jon Moore

Jon Moore is a highly experienced Staff Engineer at Stripe since January 2022, with a robust background at Comcast from June 2006 to January 2022, where significant roles included Senior Fellow and Chief Software Architect, driving cloud and software strategies. Notably, Jon managed multiple departments, spearheaded the modernization of software practices, and was the solution architect for Comcast's XfinityTV Online service. Contributions extended to open-source initiatives, notably leading the client-side cache implementation for the Java HttpClient. Additionally, Jon served on the advisory board for the University of Pennsylvania's CIS Department and acted as CTO for Philly CowShare, developing a modern e-commerce platform. Jon holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and possesses a diverse educational background, including degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
