Laura Willson

Laura Willson has a diverse background in engineering and research, beginning as a Research Assistant at Harvey Mudd College and later at Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia University in the City of New York. After serving as a Graduate Research Intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Laura transitioned to industry roles, initially working as a Software Engineer at Square, focusing on Payments, and later at Stripe, where Laura became the company's first engineer in Asia, contributing to payments infrastructure. Currently, as an Engineering Manager at Stripe on the Atlas team, Laura helps founders turn their innovative ideas into successful startups, with previous roles at Stripe including leading payments technology initiatives for Southeast Asia and global payments infrastructure.
