Oran Barak

Oran Barak is an experienced technology leader specializing in software engineering and infrastructure development, currently serving as the Head Of Edge Infrastructure and Head Of Core Compute Engineering at Stripe since November 2021, focusing on building planetary scale financial infrastructure. Previously, Oran held senior roles at Google as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, leading the development of third-generation virtualization technology for GCP, and at Oracle as a Director of Software Engineering, managing key business lines within a billion-dollar segment. Additional experience includes significant positions at Amazon Web Services, where Oran managed the Blackfoot data plane team, as well as roles at Wellsense, Wavion, Alvarion, Go Networks, and others, emphasizing expertise in software operations, R&D, and critical system components. Oran holds a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
