Peter Fairman

Peter Fairman is a seasoned legal professional with expertise in financial regulation and compliance. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Stripe since November 2021, Peter leads Payments Risk across the APAC region, providing guidance on risk-related matters, policy development, and compliance for the global risk team. Prior to this role, Peter held a legal counsel position at Sea, focusing on financial services licensing and compliance. Peter began their career at Linklaters, first as a Trainee and then as an Associate in the Financial Regulation Group, advising various financial institutions. Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Durham University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Law, London.
