Sufian Dar is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in software architecture and data platform products. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Stripe since March 2021, Sufian leads the technical efforts for Data Platform Products and oversees the Reporting Data Warehouse organization, managing vast amounts of reporting data with stringent service level agreements. Prior to Stripe, Sufian held various positions at VMware from April 2015 to February 2021, including Senior Staff Engineer and Chief Architect for Cloud Health Secure State, where product architecture and innovation were prioritized alongside customer feature requests. Sufian began a career at Microsoft from October 2006 to March 2015, contributing as a Senior Software Engineer on backend systems for Xbox One and Windows 10 Marketplace. Sufian’s technical journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, completed in 2005.
