Tom Lippman

Tom Lippman is a Staff Engineer at Stripe, where they contribute to software engineering initiatives. Previously, Tom held positions as Chief Data Scientist at Axiom Exergy, where they led the development of predictive controls for energy storage systems, and as a Software Engineer at PlanGrid. Tom earned a PhD in Physics from Stanford University, focusing on novel superconducting materials, and has also worked as a Development Engineer at HGST, integrating new recording technologies for hard drives. Their early research experiences include a role as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University, where they conducted experiments on magnetoresistance in UPt3.
