Michael Mozina is the Senior Manager of Network Advancement at StriveTogether. Prior to joining StriveTogether, Michael served as the Vice President for Finance and Operations at Associated Students of Michigan State University and as a Policy Intern at the Michigan College Access Network. Michael began their professional career as a Finish Line Sales Associate.
Michael is a passionate advocate for access to higher education and opportunity. Michael has dedicated their career to working on behalf of students, first as a college access practitioner and then in finance and operations at a large public university. In their current role at StriveTogether, Michael is responsible for supporting a national network of education nonprofits working to increase graduation rates and close achievement gaps.
A native of Detroit, Michael earned their bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University.
Michael Mozina attended Michigan State University for their undergraduate degree, where they majored in Social Relations and Policy, Political Economy, and Business. Michael then attended Michigan State University's James Madison College for their education policy analysis certification. Finally, they attended Fenwick High School to earn their 4-year resident educator license from the Ohio Department of Education.
