Adrian Smith is an experienced professional in the fields of creative media production and music technology. Since September 2001, Adrian has served as Course Manager in Creative Media Production and Lecturer in Music Technology at Strode College, in addition to working as an Assessment Associate for Pearson (Edexcel), where responsibilities include being a Team Leader for the GCE Music Technology Paper and a Standards Verifier for BTEC Music and Music Technology Level 2 and Level 3 courses. Adrian's extensive background as a self-employed bass player with Jazzsouthwest spans from January 1972 to present, performing at various events and venues. Prior to current roles, Adrian lectured in Popular Music at Bedford College from September 1996 to September 2001, where contributions included establishing sound engineering courses and managing a radio station. Adrian holds a Master's degree in Creative Music Technology from Bath Spa University, completed between 2005 and 2007.
