Eric Janssen Strohl has had a varied and successful career in the design industry. Eric Janssen began their career in 1999 as a Designer at Virtuoso Interactive and Mullen. In 2000, they moved to Eric Baker Design Associates as an Art Director and Senior Designer. In 2001, they became an Instructor of Digital Media at the School of Visual Arts. In 2005, they joined IDEO as a Practice Member of the Software Experiences, Service Design Practice, and was also an Art Director and Senior Communication Designer. In 2017, they became an Instructor of Restaurant Branding at Letterform Archive. Finally, in 2005, they founded and became the Principal of Strohl, Inc.

Eric Janssen Strohl completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts from East Carolina University between 1995 and 1999. Eric Janssen also attended West Forsyth.
