Content Manager at Stroke Association

Jenny Simpson's work experience includes being a Content Manager at the Stroke Association since 2023. Jenny worked as an Examiner for the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) since 2013. Prior to that, they were an Editor at Manchester World from 2021 to 2023, where they created and launched a new website and grew its audience significantly. Jenny also worked as a Content Editor for Lancashire Post, Blackpool Gazette & lep.co.uk from 2015 to 2021, managing a team of news reporters and utilizing web analytics tools. Jenny was a Business producer/broadcast journalist at BBC Radio 5 Live from 2016 to 2018, working on live news output and setting up social media content. Jenny Simpson's education history includes obtaining a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English from the University of St Andrews between 2000 and 2004. Later, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire from 2004 to 2005. Most recently, in 2021, Jenny completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Journalism Innovation and Leadership from the University of Central Lancashire.
