Laura M.

Laura M.'s work experience includes various roles in the counseling and support field. Laura started their career as a Retail Assistant at Next Clothing in 2012 and later worked as a Stock Administrator at Halfords in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked for The Regard Group as a Support Worker, and then they were promoted to Senior Support Worker until 2019. In 2013, they worked as a Healthcare Assistant at INSIGNIA HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS LIMITED. From 2019 to 2020, Laura M. worked as a Bank Support Worker at Achieve together and later as a Support Coordinator at the Stroke Association. In 2020, they started their own counseling practice called Laura Elizabeth Counselling and worked there as an Integrative Counsellor. Laura also worked as a Sessional Counsellor at Verve Health from January to May 2022. Currently, Laura M. is a Sessional Counsellor at the Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre, starting in July 2022.

Laura M. has a comprehensive education history in the field of counseling and psychology. Laura pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Integrative Counseling from the University of Northampton from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a NCFE Level 3 qualification in Counseling Skills from the College of West Anglia in 2015-2016. Laura also completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology with Sociology at the University of East Anglia from 2012 to 2015.

Before pursuing higher education, Laura obtained a Level 2 Btec qualification in Applied Science from the College of West Anglia in 2011-2012. Laura also completed A Levels in English, Film Studies, and History from the same institution from 2009 to 2011. In terms of secondary education, Laura attended St Clement's High School where they obtained their GCSEs, including English, Maths, and Science, from 2004 to 2009.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Laura has also achieved the title of Registered Counsellor from BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) in July 2019.
