Lawrence Orr

Lawrence Orr has a extensive work experience in the fundraising and engagement sector. Lawrence started their career as a Community Fundraiser at Bowel Cancer UK in 2010. After that, they joined Shelter UK as a Community & Events Manager in 2012, and later became a Senior Events Manager and then Head of Challenge Events. In 2017, they moved to Scope where they served as Head of Community & Events and later transitioned to the role of Head of Public Fundraising. In 2022, they joined Mencap as Deputy Fundraising Director (Engagement) and worked there until 2023. Lawrence is currently working as the Associate Director of Mass Engagement at Stroke Association.

Lawrence Orr pursued their education at The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2007. During this time, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Modern History and Politics.
