Melanie Steele

Melanie Steele is an experienced professional in research and academic management, currently serving as a Research Officer at the Stroke Association since September 2025. Previously, Melanie held various roles at the University of East Anglia from August 2011 to May 2025, including Doctoral Training and Quality Manager, Assistant Registrar, Faculty Manager, and Interim Associate Director of Postgraduate Research. Responsibilities included managing teams, overseeing doctoral training grants, facilitating course developments, and providing financial advice to the Head of School. Melanie holds a Master of Research in Psychology with Distinction from the University of East Anglia, a Diploma from the Institute of Administrative Management, and a BA (Hons) in Social and Educational Psychology from the University of Kent.
