Skye Coote is a seasoned nursing professional with extensive experience in stroke care and education. Currently serving as the Stroke Unit Certification Coordinator at the Stroke Foundation since September 2025, Skye coordinates the Stroke Unit Certification committee and manages reporting and evaluation processes. As President Elect and Chair for the 2025 International Conference at the Association of Neurovascular Clinicians, Skye also holds a position on the Board of Directors. In addition to lecturing at Ausmed since 2015, Skye has previously worked as the Nursing Lead for the Melbourne Mobile Stroke Unit at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and as a Senior Project Manager for Clinical Education at the Australian Stroke Alliance. Skye's previous roles include Co-Chair of the Acute Stroke Nurses Education Network and various positions at Eastern Health, where Skye developed expertise in acute stroke care and clinical resource management. Skye's educational background includes advanced training in stroke nursing and critical care nursing, alongside a Master of Nursing from Monash University.
