Joel Ashby

Joel Ashby is the Director of the South Region at Stroma. Joel has over 10 years of experience as a Building Control Surveyor. Joel has worked for Slough Borough Council, London Borough of Hillingdon, and BBS Building Control Ltd.

Joel has a wealth of knowledge in undertaking independent site inspections and plan assessments for all types of building projects including domestic, residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Joel is also experienced in conducting fire risk assessments and is accredited by the LABC.

In their current role as Director, Joel is responsible for overseeing all building control operations in the South Region. Joel works closely with clients to ensure that their projects are completed to the highest standards and that all regulations are met. Joel is passionate about their work and takes great pride in ensuring that every project is a success.

Joel Ashby has a degree in Building Surveying from Kingston University, as well as certificates in fire risk assessment and building control. Joel also has GCSE's and A-Levels from Bishopshalt Secondary School.
