Max Calabro

Max Calabro has a strong background in data science and sustainability. Max is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Strong Analytics since August 2022. Previously, they worked as a Data Scientist at Fast Radius from August 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at Apptio from June 2019 to September 2020 and at Cloudability from May 2018 to June 2019.

In addition to their data science roles, Max has also gained experience in asset management as an Asset Manager at Guerrilla Development Co. from July 2015 to January 2017. Max also worked as a Senior Sustainability Analyst at Paladino and Company from September 2011 to January 2013 and as a LEED Manager at Dolan Construction from August 2010 to May 2011.

Max has a strong academic background with a Master's thesis focused on remote sensing and satellite interferometry, processing big data with Perl and Matlab as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon from September 2006 to June 2008.

Furthermore, Max is also an entrepreneur as they founded Office Mindfulness, LLC in September 2014. Max taught meditation classes and mindfulness workshops and published guided meditations via podcast and introductory ebooks.

Overall, Max has extensive experience in data science, sustainability, asset management, and entrepreneurship.

Max Calabro attended Amherst College from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics. Max then pursued further education at the University of Oregon from 2006 to 2008 and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geophysics. In 2017 to 2018, Max attended Thinkful, where they studied Data Science, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this program.

In addition to their formal education, Max holds certifications as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) from Yoga Alliance, which they obtained in 2014, and as a Wilderness First Responder from the Wilderness Medicine Institute (NOLS), which they obtained in 2013.
