Matt Pire is an experienced Field Service Technician and Motion Picture Machine Technician with a diverse background in cinema and audio-visual technologies. Currently employed at Strong Technical Services since June 2021, Matt has a long history of roles including Booth Chief at the Telluride Film Festival and Projectionist at various theaters such as the Stanford Theater, Paramount Theater, and Grand Lake Theater. Responsibilities have included operating and maintaining 35mm and digital projection systems, managing teams of projectionists, and providing technical consulting and repairs in audio systems. Education includes an Associate of Arts in Communications from Seton Hall University and a degree in Electronics Engineering from RETS Institute, as well as specialized training in Crestron Programming.
