Steven Walker

Steven Walker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steven began their career in 1998 as a Switch Technician in the United States Air Force. Steven then moved on to work as an IT Technician at the Joint Communications Support Element. In 2004, they joined the White House Communications Agency as an IT Systems Lead. In 2009, Steven returned to the United States Air Force and served as a Recruiter before transitioning into the role of an IT Senior Manager. In 2017, they joined Providence Health SC, initially as an IT Manager and later as an IT Director. In 2020, they became the Director of Agency Computing Support Services at the South Carolina Department of Administration and was subsequently promoted to the role of Director of Service Support and Operations. Currently, Steven is working at StrongArm Tech as the Director of Technical Support and is scheduled to become the Senior Director of IT Operations.

Steven Walker earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arkansas Grantham from 2002 to 2008. Steven also holds two Associate's degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. One in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician, and the other in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. No time frame is provided for the completion of the Associate's degrees.
