Brad Schaider

Brad Schaider has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles in the field of IT and technology. Brad is currently working at strongDM as a Senior Manager, IT since December 2022. Prior to that, they served as an IT Manager at the same company from August 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining strongDM, Brad worked at Arundo Analytics as the Director of IT and IS for a brief period from July 2021 to August 2021. Previously, they held the position of Information Technology Administrator at Arundo Analytics from December 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they managed the IT department and handled tasks such as service desk ticket system management, troubleshooting, and identity & access management.

From 2017 to 2019, Brad worked at Lumeni Productions as the Director of Digital Technology / Senior IT Manager. During their 12-year tenure at the company, they played a significant role in transforming it from an under-powered boutique to a top-tier finishing production house. Their responsibilities included the management and development of render farms, shared storage servers, and color correction theaters.

Brad also has experience working as a Compositing Mentor at CG Spectrum College of Digital Art and Animation from August 2016 to August 2017. Brad taught and mentored aspiring VFX artists using Nuke software.

Before that, Brad worked at Ant Farm as a Graphic Designer / IT, where they designed and animated motion graphics for theatrical marketing. Brad also provided technical and artist support to the Motion Graphics department.

Brad started their career as a Freelance Graphic Artist at Aspect Ratio for a short period and then served as a Digital Animation TA/grad student at the University of Southern California from 2003 to 2006.

Brad Schaider began their education at Texas A&M University in 2000, where they pursued a degree in Environmental Design, specializing in Architecture. Brad completed their undergraduate studies in 2004.

Following their bachelor's degree, Schaider enrolled at the University of Southern California in 2003, where they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film, Video and Computer Animation. Brad successfully completed their studies in 2006.

Throughout their professional career, Schaider also obtained several additional certifications. In December 2020, they received the ISO 27001 Foundation and ISO 27001 Internal Auditor Information Security Certifications from BSI. In March 2021, they acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft. Lastly, in December 2022, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
