Howard Marzolf

Howard Marzolf, III, CPA, CFE has a strong background in finance and auditing, with a focus on acquiring restrictive funding for K-12 schools and ensuring compliance with programmatic requirements. Howard held the role of Director of Finance at StrongMind starting in January 2022, and prior to that, they worked as a Regional Finance Manager at the same company from June 2020. Before joining StrongMind, Howard worked at Pearson as a Senior Federal Programs Specialist from April 2016 to June 2020, and at Connections Academy as a Federal Programs Specialist from September 2013 to March 2016. Howard also gained experience in auditing while working at the Office of Legislative Audits, where they held the positions of Senior Auditor from October 2012 to September 2013, and Staff Auditor from July 2008 to October 2012. Throughout their various roles, Howard demonstrated skills in financial management, program compliance, and audit planning.

Howard Marzolf, III, CPA, CFE holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Howard further pursued their education at Stevenson University, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Forensic Studies from 2008 to 2010. Howard Marzolf, III is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Maryland Board of Public Accountancy in 2013, and a Certified Fraud Examiner, certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in 2010.
