Are you a manufacturing or operations leader who is tired of hearing excuses like these for a lack of tangible progress?

•	The process simply wasn’t designed to do this
•	We have had the experts in and they couldn’t solve it
•	The customer and commercial team have completely unrealistic expectations
•	It will take time to solve the problem; we need to be patient

In our experience working on 1000s of manufacturing lines, none of these are the real problem.

It’s actually quite simple - the approach you are taking is “designed to fail”.

What do we mean by this?

The traditional approaches fundamentally rely on structured guesswork to solve problems. Tough problems often have hundreds if not thousands of potential root causes. These approaches are designed to exhaust your team with a never-ending stream of possibilities that can never all be checked (if they can even all be identified at all). By design they will fail and lead your team to look for other excuses.

You need an approach that challenges the status quo by abandoning these traditional approaches and tackling problems in a way that rejects the need for guesswork. We call this the 60 Day Breakthrough.

Embracing this approach allows your organization to:
•	Eliminate your critical problem in 60 days or less
•	Build belief within a few days that the “impossible” problem can be solved
•	Use the expertise you already have in your organization to do this - you don’t need another expert

The proof that it works?

In two decades of work on 1000s of manufacturing lines, we have yet to find a truly “impossible” problem.

•	Eliminated a brand killing packaged food quality problem in 6 weeks
•	Increase throughput on two bottling lines by 50% in 6 weeks
•	Improved material yield by more than 70% in 10 weeks for a CPG manufacturer
•	Reduced the overall investment in a major capital project by more than 50% without impacting schedule or performance
•	Generated $50MM in savings for a major CPG company over 2 years
