Anne Reeder Bertram

Anne Reeder Bertram began their work experience in 2008 as an Instructor at UC Davis, where they taught Introduction to Acting and was responsible for curriculum preparation, lectures, and evaluations. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Teaching Artist at Synetic Theatre, developing and implementing an arts integration program for teaching math to Baltimore middle school students. Concurrently, they served as a Professor of Theatre at Shippensburg University, teaching Introduction to Theatre and emphasizing the history of theatre. In 2011, they also worked as an Educator at lululemon athletica. In 2011, they founded When Nourished, a company focused on holistic health coaching. Since 2019, Anne Reeder Bertram has been an Adjunct Instructor in the Master of Fine Arts Program at Wilson College, where they have been responsible for teaching Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentals. In 2021, they took on the role of Director of (se)® LAB at Structural Elements®, where they are currently employed.

Anne Reeder Bertram's education history begins in 1996 when they attended Mercersburg Academy. Although the specific degree and field of study are unknown, they completed their secondary education at this institution.

In 2000, Anne enrolled in Emerson College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre Studies. Anne successfully completed their undergraduate education in 2004.

Continuing their academic journey, Anne attended the University of California, Davis from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Acting.

In 2010, Anne joined the Laban Institute of Movement Studies (LIMS) and studied Movement and Mind-Body Therapies and Education. Anne completed their coursework and became a Certified Movement Analyst in 2012.

In the same year, Anne also attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and obtained a certification as a Certified Holistic Health Coach. Their focus during this program was on Health and Wellness.

Most recently, Anne pursued a Certification in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Balanced Body. Anne attended this program from 2020 to 2022.
