Rick Bishop DC, CCSP®

Director of Sports Chiropractic at Structural Elements®

Rick Bishop DC, CCSP® has a diverse work experience in the field of chiropractic. Rick currently serves as the Executive Director of the Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society (PBCS) since February 2012. In this role, they are responsible for providing continued education for professional baseball chiropractors and enhancing their understanding of sports medicine. Rick also educates the broader community about the chiropractor's integral role in the sports medicine team.

In addition, Rick is currently the Director of Sports Chiropractic at Structural Elements®, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Owner of Cornerstone Chiropractic Center, PC, starting from January 2005. Rick's expertise and experience in the field make him a valuable asset in the chiropractic profession.

Rick Bishop DC, CCSP® has a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Rick then pursued a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic from 1997 to 2001. In 2012 to 2013, Rick Bishop completed a certification in Chiropractic Sports Physician from Northeast College of Health Sciences.

Rick Bishop has additional certifications, including being an On Base University Certified Hitting and Baseball Pitching Medical Expert, which they obtained from OnBase University in April 2019. Rick is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practioner accredited by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, though the exact date of certification is not specified.
