Structural Solutions performs engineering investigations and analysis services for clients whose buildings are exhibiting signs of distress and perform structural evaluations to resolve structural concerns. We analyze structures for proposed change of use, where services typically include assessments of the as-built conditions, in conjunction with structural analyses, to accurately evaluate the capacity of structural elements for the proposed new usage of the building.

For design of repairs, we seek solutions that combine durability and ease of construction. For new design, our involvement typically provides the biggest return at the start of the conceptual design phase. Like all firms, we prepare Design Documents to address our clients’ needs, but we make sure to monitor the progress of the construction from the foundation to the super-structure of the building, to verify that the contractor has understood and followed our design intent.
