Cindy Gode, PhD, CMPP, is currently the Director of Medical Affairs at Structure Therapeutics, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as Associate Director of Medical Communications at Ascendis Pharma in 2025 and held various medical writing roles at Physicians' Education Resource®, LLC from 2018 to 2020. Between 2017 and 2018, Cindy worked as a Freelance Medical Writer, creating educational materials focused on oncology. Prior to their industry experience, they were a Post Doctoral researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2011 to 2017, where they led research projects and collaborations. Cindy earned a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Iowa in 2009 and a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut in 2004.
