Damien Hull has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Damien currently works as an Engineer at Structured Communication Systems since 2022. Prior to this, Damien worked at Section 9 as a Podcaster, Sysadmin, Network Engineer, and Security practitioner from 2018 onwards. At Section 9, they implemented Microsoft 365 and handled network and systems engineering tasks.

Prior to that, they worked as a Network Engineer at GCI/Integrated Logic LLC from 2013 to 2014. Their responsibilities included documenting Cisco and Juniper router configurations.
Damien's career began as an IT Instructor at Charter College from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they taught IT classes that involved hands-on learning and lectures, with a focus on teaching Cisco-related topics. Overall, Damien possesses extensive experience and expertise in various IT roles, including network engineering, security, system administration, and IT management.
Damien Hull began their education journey in 2009 at Charter College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Damien completed their studies in 2011. Afterwards, Damien enrolled at the American InterContinental University in 2012, where they pursued a Master of Science in Information Assurance & Security. Damien obtained their degree in 2013.
In terms of certifications, Damien obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA in July 2014. In September 2016, they earned the Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) certification from GIAC Certifications. Damien also achieved the Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC Certifications in February 2017. In October 2015, they acquired the Security Essentials (GSEC) certification from GIAC Certifications. Lastly, Damien obtained the GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC) from GIAC Certifications in February 2019.
