Joe Hatton

Joe Hatton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in the field of IT and communication systems.

Joe began their career at East Texas Baptist University as an IT Helpdesk Technician, where they provided support for PC hardware, software, and network issues. Joe also had involvement in major network and telecommunications projects.

After their time at the university, Hatton worked at Benchtop Labs as a Systems Engineer, where they played a key role in designing and building a web-hosting server farm. Joe also provided IT consulting services and web hosting to clients.

Following their stint at Benchtop Labs, Hatton joined Bay Creek Mortgage as a Systems Engineer. During their tenure, they managed IT infrastructure and services across multiple locations, including designing and implementing computer networks, VoIP phone systems, and security systems.

Joe'smost recent role was at Structured Communication Systems, where they held multiple positions. Starting as a Unified Communications Engineer, Hatton eventually became the Lead Unified Communications Engineer. In their final position as Director, Unified Communications, they managed a team to design, sell, implement, and support cloud and onsite communications systems for a large number of users across various locations.

Joe Hatton obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering Technology from LeTourneau University from the year 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they attended East Texas Baptist University, where they studied Computer Information Systems. Joe also holds several certifications, including MiVoice Connect - Technical and MiVoice Connect Contact Center - Technical from Mitel (obtained in April 2022), SSA - ShoreTel Solution Architect (CLOUD), CCSE - Contact Center Support Engineer, SMSE - ShoreTel Mobility Support Engineer, UCSE - UC Support Engineer, and SSA - ShoreTel Solution Architect (ONSITE) from ShoreTel (obtained between 2015 and 2016).
