Joel Rosenberg

Joel Rosenberg has extensive experience in the field of network and security operations. Joel has worked in various roles over the years, starting in 2001 with Center Partners as a Qwest Wireless Data Support. Joel then moved on to T-Mobile, where they worked as an Advanced Technical Support from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they joined Camnet as a Network Technician.

From 2008 to 2013, Joel worked at Computer Services, Inc. as a Network and Security Operations Center Associate. During this time, they actively responded to security incidents, implemented countermeasures, and performed security posture reviews for multiple customers.

In 2013, Joel joined Electric Lightwave as a Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst II. Their responsibilities included responding to security incidents, implementing countermeasures, and leading remediation projects. Joel also provided technical leadership and training for Cybersecurity Operations analysts.

Since 2017, Joel has been working at Structured Communication Systems as a Senior Security Engineer. In this role, they design, installs, configures, troubleshoots, and manages a wide range of security solutions. Joel Rosenberg completed their high school education at Laramie High School from 1991 to 1995, earning a High School Diploma. Joel then pursued further education at Central New Mexico Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Networking Technology from 2004 to 2007.

In terms of additional certifications, Joel has received various qualifications in the field of networking and network security. These include certifications such as Palo Alto Certified Network Security Consultant (PCNSC10) and Palo Alto Certified Network Security Consultant (PCNSC) from Palo Alto Networks in 2020 and 2019 respectively. Joel also holds the PSE Endpoint Professional and PSE Platform Professional certifications from Palo Alto Networks, obtained in 2018. Furthermore, Joel is a Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) since 2013 and holds the Cisco Certified Network Associate, Security (CCNA-S) certification since 2010. In 2008, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Professional - Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification and in 2010, they earned the Cisco Express Foundation Design Specialist (CXFS) qualification from Cisco.
