Systems Engineer – Unified Communications at Structured Communication Systems

Josh Cook has a diverse work experience in the field of unified communications and telecommunications. Josh began their career as a Telephone Systems Journeyman in the United States Air Force, where they maintained PBX systems, voicemail platforms, and data circuits. After leaving the military in 2009, Josh joined Arrow S3 as a Voice Network/NOC Technician IV, providing 24x7 support for Lockheed Martin SSC campuses. Josh was responsible for troubleshooting communication and network outages, configuring and maintaining various networking equipment, and maintaining voicemail systems.

In 2012, Josh worked as a Technical Support Specialist II at microDATA GIS Inc., where they traveled to deploy and troubleshoot hardware and software at regional and US DoD PSAP deployment sites. Josh ensured successful implementation and cutover for customers, as well as staged and configured site platform designs.

From 2016 to 2019, Josh worked at Northwest Telecom Systems, Inc. as a Lead Technician, where they provided troubleshooting support to customers, both remotely and onsite. Josh also performed PBX system installations, both premise-based and cloud-based.

Josh's most recent position is with Pacific Office Automation, where they worked as a Mitel UC Tier II specialist. In this role, they provided support for Mitel unified communications systems and worked closely with Tier I support to resolve customer issues.

Currently, Josh is a Systems Engineer – Unified Communications at Structured Communication Systems, where they are responsible for managing and supporting unified communications systems.

Throughout their career, Josh has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate technical details to customers.

Josh Cook attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2003 to 2006, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Electronic Systems Technology. Following that, from 2009 to 2012, they attended Regis University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication.
