Elizabeth Johnson has over 20 years of work experience in the field of education and communications. Elizabeth began their career in 2002 as a Communications Associate at the Illinois State Medical Society. Elizabeth then moved on to a Contract Content Writer role at Leapfrog Online in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Project Manager and Content Developer at Cognitive Arts. From 2011 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Customer Education Manager at Morningstar, where they developed the instructional design process, designed and developed curriculum and courses for face-to-face, blended and eLearning delivery, and conducted organizational, business unit and product needs analyses. In 2021, they moved to People 2.0 as a Senior Instructional Designer, where they created a technical training strategy and implementation plan to transform existing technical training resources into a micro-learning solution. Elizabeth is currently a Customer Education Manager at StructuredWeb.

Elizabeth Johnson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Iowa and subsequently obtained their Master's degree in Public Service Management from DePaul University. In April 2022, they also obtained a TechSmith Camtasia 2021 Explorer certification from TechSmith.
