Gul Agha

Gul Agha is a Professor Emeritus and Research Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they have been engaged since 1989. They served as the Chief Executive Officer of Embedor Technologies from 2014 to 2024, focusing on sensor networks for structural monitoring. Currently, Gul is the Chief Scientist at StructureIQ, a position they have held since 2024. They completed their PhD in Psychology, Computer, and Communication Science at the University of Michigan, following a Bachelor of Science degree from Caltech. Earlier in their career, they were a Research Scientist and Lecturer at MIT from 1983 to 1987.
