Murat Deger

Murat Deger is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and software solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Codes and Standards at STRUCTUREPOINT since March 2009, Murat has a strong background from various roles, including Manager of Engineering and Senior Structural Engineer at the same company, and Project Engineer II at Walker Parking Consultants. Prior positions include Project Engineer at Giffels Associates Limited and MMM Group, Intermediate Design Engineer at Yolles Partnership, Design Engineer roles at Carruthers & Wallace, STFA Construction Group, and Yuksel Proje International, as well as Structural Engineer at the Earthquake Engineering Research Center. Murat holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Structural and Civil Engineering, respectively, from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi.
