Walid Gemayel

Walid Gemayel, PE, serves as Senior Vice President and Partner at American Structurepoint, Inc., overseeing the Ohio operation with 30 years of experience in construction and design within the transportation industry. Previously, Walid contributed as Principal and Practice Leader at GPD Group, managing the Transportation Group and establishing the Columbus office. An adjunct professor at The Ohio State University, Walid developed lectures that integrated real-world experiences to enhance engineering education. As Deputy Director for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Walid managed a $1.2 billion statewide construction program and implemented significant initiatives such as the design-build program. Walid holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University.
