Barbara Blum

Barbara Blum is a Chief Engineer at Stryker, bringing over 30 years of experience in biomaterials engineering, with a focus on orthopedic and wound healing research and development. They have launched more than 20 new products, including 10 as a project leader, and coordinated over 50 preclinical studies. Barbara has developed a BMP-2 osteoinductivity assay and conducted due diligence on emerging technologies. Previously, Barbara held positions at Wright Medical, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Genentech, among others. They are currently pursuing multiple advanced degrees in Biomedical Engineering and International Health.
