Derek Wang is an experienced information security professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and data privacy. As a Senior Manager of Information Security at Stryker since June 2021, Derek leads the China security team, ensuring local compliance with global security standards. Prior to this role, Derek served as an Associate Director at Deloitte China from September 2015 to May 2021, providing cybersecurity and data privacy consulting services focused on compliance assessment and privacy protection. Earlier, Derek worked as an SAP Basis & Security Consultant at IBM from April 2012 to August 2015, delivering technical consulting and SAP security services. Derek holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Hefei University of Technology.
