Eric Oertel

Eric Oertel currently serves as a Project Manager at Stryker since August 2025. Prior to this role, Oertel was the Director of Safety and Security at Racine Unified School District from September 2015 to July 2025, where responsibilities included serving off-duty as a resource officer. Oertel's experience also includes serving as a Police Officer at Mt. Pleasant Police Department from August 2014 to February 2023. In addition, Oertel was the Worship Director at Hope City Church from January 2018 to January 2022, leading a team of volunteers and organizing worship services. Oertel earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Washington State University between 2010 and 2014.
