Rowan Hettel is currently the Director of R&D Engineering at Stryker, specializing in next-generation endovascular devices aimed at reducing amputation rates in no-option CLTI patients. Previously, they held key roles as a Director at LimFlow SA and Inari Medical, and as a Principal Engineer at Boston Scientific, focusing on drug-eluting stents and drug-coated balloon R&D. Rowan's engineering career began at Boeing, where they worked on the International Space Station and the 787 Dreamliner. They have also contributed to academia as an adjunct lecturer at Citrus College and Dunwoody College of Technology. Rowan earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, along with a Project Management Certificate from Boston University.
