Tom Williamson

Tom Williamson is a Principal Engineer and Robotics R&D Manager at Stryker R&D Lab, where they lead the development of advanced biomedical technologies aimed at enhancing surgical precision and improving patient outcomes. Previously, Tom worked as a Research Fellow at RMIT University, focusing on robotic solutions for bone tumor treatment, and served as a Senior Research Officer at Monash University, innovating non-invasive treatments for liver tumors. Their academic achievements include a PhD from Universität Bern, where they advanced robotic approaches to cochlear implantation. Additionally, Tom held research positions at the Institute for Surgical Technologies and Biomechanics and the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research, where they contributed to various interdisciplinary projects.
