Xudong Lu

Xudong Lu is a Senior Staff Engineer at Stryker, where they focus on architecting GPU-accelerated image and video processing pipelines and researching computer vision and artificial intelligence applications for multimodality medical visualization platforms. They previously held positions at NOVADAQ as a Data Scientist and at Fortinet as an Embedded Software Engineer, and they contributed to significant research in image processing during their time as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia. Xudong obtained a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Science from the University of Science and Technology of China. They have a strong interest in image understanding, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
