Nigel Brunning, MSM, MSc, CEng, CMarEng, FIMarEST, MCMI, is currently a Principal Engineer at STS Defence, having transitioned from a 36-year career in the Royal Navy, where they served as an Engineering Specialist and led various instructional roles related to submarine propulsion systems. Since 2017, Nigel has acted as a Subject Matter Expert for the MESM transition to SMTF, contributing to complex military projects. Nigel obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Management with distinction from the University of Portsmouth in 2013 and has played a pivotal role in achieving accreditation for Royal Naval Marine Engineers with the Engineering Council. They are actively seeking new opportunities and challenges since December 2021.
