Alexia Everett is currently a Strategy Advisor on Special Populations within the U.S. Department of Education, focusing on the educational needs of students in foster care, those experiencing homelessness, and youth involved with the juvenile justice system. In their previous role as a Senior Program Officer at the Stuart Foundation since 2012, they supported the design and implementation of grantmaking strategies aimed at improving outcomes for systems-involved youth. Earlier, they served as a Program Manager at the Girl Scouts of Western and held positions at the College Success Foundation and YMCA, where they developed policies and programs to support underserved youth. Alexia earned a degree from Western Governors University between 2020 and 2022.
