Bill Chen has extensive experience in IT and system administration, currently serving as a Splunk admin and providing Linux support at StubHub since February 2011. Previously, Bill held the position of DC Operation team lead at Hewlett-Packard from September 2000 to October 2010, where responsibilities included supporting worldwide data center operations for the Sun Microsystems/Oracle account. Earlier roles included Senior IT Specialist at Hitachi Asia Ltd., focusing on HP UNIX administration and Oracle database administration, as well as IT Consultant at HP, providing system administration for HP3000 and HP9000 systems. Bill Chen earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1990 and 1995.
