Luis Martinez

Luis Martinez serves as a Sr. Venture Associate and Mentor at Capital Factory since November 2022 and has held mentoring roles at MassChallenge, Techstars, Geekdom, and Pioneers 21 Business Incubator and Co-Work Space. As the Founder and Member of the Board of Directors for Students + Startups since January 2016, Luis successfully scaled an internship program that connects undergraduates with startups in San Antonio. Luis is a Life Member and Board Director for SACNAS and was an Advisory Board Member at the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers until March 2023. Previously, Luis was the Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Trinity University, overseeing strategy, operations, and intellectual property policy. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Trinity University.
