Joe Mathewson

Joe Mathewson is a seasoned leader in the technology and education sectors, currently serving as the CEO of StudentSafe, where efforts focus on transforming transport for schools and parents. Mathewson also holds a trustee position at Speakers for Schools, a charity dedicated to enhancing social mobility for state-educated students, and acts as a mentor in the Future Fifty program for Tech Nation, offering guidance to rapidly growing UK tech startups. Previously, Mathewson served as Vice President at Veracross, overseeing the integration of Firefly following its acquisition, and co-founded Firefly Learning, a SaaS platform that significantly enhanced connectivity in the educational experience before its successful exit to Veracross.
